This is a good quality bowl made of solid paulownia wood, a natural hardwood prized for its even texture and light weight. It’s not usually readily available in the US as it is mostly grown in Asia and typically very costly to obtain in the US. The even texture and color of the wood has a very nice natural beauty that makes it an excellent choice for decorative pieces, like this bowl. This bowl is much lighter than many other wood products but it is very beautiful and well constructed! It will be a great quality item I keep in my home for years to come. Many designers who sell the identical bowl charge significantly more for the exact same product. Thank you, Shuzen for sourcing another amazing quality product! I can’t wait to use it in my space!
Bowl is as light as styrofoam- the base of the bowl is off center from the center of the bowl so it isn’t stable.
